NWTC proudly celebrates 1,400 graduates at its mid-year celebration ceremony
On December 16, NWTC will be hosting its mid-year graduation ceremony, celebrating over 1,400 students from all three campuses and five regional centers who have completed their programs during the fall 2021 semester. This is the first in-person graduation ceremony since December 2019.

“I am thrilled that for the first time in two years, we will gather in person to celebrate this important life milestone for our students,” said Dr. Jeff Rafn, NWTC president. “A lot of hard work goes into this achievement, and I am inspired by the dedication our students have shown and look forward to seeing them apply their expertise in our community.”

December graduation includes students who are expected to have completed their studies between June and December 2021. Some of the facts about this graduating class include:

NWTC’s December 2021 mid-year Commencement Ceremony will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 16, at the Resch Center. Here, participating graduates from all campuses and regional centers will be celebrated.

The ceremony will be held in person and open to graduates, friends and family members. Masks will be required for everyone in attendance. NWTC will also live stream the event for those who wish to celebrate virtually.

The ceremony will include addresses by NWTC President, Dr. Jeff Rafn and NWTC Student Ambassador, Alma Lopez.
