U.S. Secretary of Energy Dan Brouillette visited Northeast Wisconsin Technical College and met with current and future students at the College’s Utility Preview Day on October 6, 2020.

Secretary Brouillette learned about NWTC’s programs in Solar Energy, Energy Management, Gas Utility and Electrical Power Distribution. He will also tour the NWTC’s Great Lakes Energy Education Center.

Utility Preview Day is an annual event gives prospective students the opportunity to learn about Electrical Power Distribution (install, maintain, and operate electrical systems) and Gas Utility Construction & Service (natural and propane gas distribution systems) for residential, commercial, and industrial customers. High schoolers will also have the chance to meet with employers, current students and instructors.
