NWTC will host “Men’s Mental Health: Tools for Tough Times” on March 5, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in the Commons on the Green Bay campus. The event features Bruce Morton, a leading safety expert, mental health advocate, and founder of the Wisconsin Construction Wellness Community (WCWC).
Mental health challenges in the trades remain a significant issue, with suicide rates nearly four times higher than the national average. Morton has dedicated his career to reducing stigma and building supportive workplace cultures. During his presentation, he will share his personal experiences with anxiety and family mental health struggles while highlighting the importance of being “Visible, Vocal, and Vulnerable.”
