Prototype and Design Hands-on Seminar for High School Students 

The NWTC Prototype and Design program is a unique offering that combines creative design and hands-on fabrication. Prototypes are a key tool in the product design process. Only two programs in the USA offer this educational training.

This five-week seminar introduces high school students to the key skills included in the Prototype and Design associate degree program ; including 3-D printing, laser etching, molding, welding, CNC machining, and RTV model making.

• Gain hands-on skills in a high-tech college lab. 
• Get a feel for college classes with this free opportunity. 
• See if prototype and design is good career field for your future.

Join us for our Engineering Open House on February 20, 2024, from 4pm to 7pm at Door 14. This is a great opportunity to learn more about our prototype and design program.

High school juniors and seniors can learn more about our program by shadowing an engineer for a day.
