Electro-Mechanical Camp offers students a chance to learn hands-on about wiring, electricity, automation, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), robotics, and design. Students will be introduced to SolidWorks design software, learn about PLCs in everyday life, and work with Snap Circuits, robots, and Mobile Modular trainers, all while learning about safety in this field. Students will work on projects from design through completion such as rockets. Tours of local industry and speakers in the class will show students career pathways in the fields of electro-mechanical and automation. Breakfast and lunch will be provided as well as a free camp t-shirt.
