CNC/Machining Camp offers students a chance to learn hands-on about computer-aided machining and design. Students will be introduced to Mastercam and SolidWorks design software, learn about machines such as drill presses, lathes, and milling machines, and be guided through safety lessons for this manufacturing field. Students will work on projects from design through completion such as a metal puzzle, a wood peg game, and personalized wind chimes. Tours of local industry and speakers in the class will show students career pathways in this field. Breakfast and lunch will be provided as well as a free camp t-shirt.
