Woodturning, ceramics, drawing, and more! NWTC is offering a variety of summer art classes for youth and adults of every skill level.

All summer art classes are just 12 hours long, so you can try something new or hone your skills without a major time commitment (a big plus if your summer is already packed!). Classes are held at the NWTC Artisan and Business Center in downtown Green Bay.
Eager to be creative but apprehensive about taking a class? Whether you’re a beginner or you have a background in the visual arts, there is a place for you at the Artisan Center. Ashley Beyer, who coordinates the facility’s art programming and day-to-day operations, understands how some individuals may feel intimidated before experiencing a class or believe they don’t belong in a studio environment.

“I want to tear down those walls,” said Ashley, who strives to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for all. “I want people to feel as comfortable as possible.”

This summer we are offering classes for artists, aspiring or experienced, ages 8 to 108. Our summer classes are great for people interested in creating art for the first time, as well as those looking to rekindle their passion.
