Help make College possible for NWTC students during Give BIG Green Bay

The NWTC Educational Foundation is excited to be one of the 45 nonprofits selected to participate in the fifth annual Give BIG Green Bay!  

What is Give BIG Green Bay? 

Give BIG Green Bay is a 24-hour online giving event (February 23 at noon to February 24 at noon) hosted by the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation to support Brown County nonprofits. Each year, area nonprofits are selected to participate in this one-day giving event, spreading awareness and changing how the community thinks about local charities.  

In addition to donations on the day of the event, the Green Bay Packers Foundation provides a $250,000 grant that is used to match funds given to participating nonprofits – so your gift to the Foundation can have an even BIGGER impact! 

In the past four years, more than $5.5 million has been raised in support of the community.  

What is the NWTC Foundation?  

The NWTC Educational Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that raises funds to help make College accessible for students in Northeast Wisconsin. Each year, the Foundation gives scholarships, emergency aid, and financial assistance to students pursuing certificates and degrees at NWTC. Their mission, to "Make College Possible" for all students.

How can you help? 

Give BIG Green Bay is a day where the community can come together to help raise funds and awareness for nonprofits in the community. The NWTC Educational Foundation needs your help to spread the word about this amazing event! 

Around 40% of all students at the College are considered low-income. Receiving a scholarship or emergency aid can be crucial assistance to completing a semester or a degree. Your continued support makes college possible for someone who may not have believed that it was an option.  

For over 50 years the Foundation has been making college possible for students in Northeast Wisconsin. None of this would be possible without caring donors dedicated to creating change in the community. A gift of any amount can have a lasting impact on a student’s life.
