10-145-189 WRITING A BUSINESS PLAN-SMALL BUSINESS ...as a necessary component to beginning a small business, from addressing facets of the business plan, observing various types of plans, to realizing readiness to begin. Plan preparation/presentation are required. (Pre-requisite 10-145-185, Organizing Your Small Business; 10-145-187, Marketing Your Small Business; 10-145-186, Financial Management-Sm Business; 10-145-188 Entrepreneurial Service Mgmt)

  2. Incorporate an executive summary in your Business Plan.
  3. Incorporate a marketing/sales plan in your Business Plan.
  4. Incorporate an operations plan in your Business Plan.
  5. Incorporate development plans and operations systems in your Business Plan.
  6. Incorporate risks, restraints, and contingencies in your Business Plan.
  7. Incorporate financial projections into your Business Plan.
  8. Perform a Business Plan analysis using the SWOT strategy.
  9. Organize your small Business Plan.
  10. Present your Business Plan orally.
