10-152-151 SQL PROGRAMMING ADVANCED ...write advanced SQL statements, design robust databases and explore performance issues and solutions at the server-level and query-level. Additional topics include database transformations (SSIS), and reporting options (SSRS). (Prerequisite: 10-152-184, SQL Programming).

  1. Translate complex information needs into accurate SQL statements to generate results that meet business requirements.
  2. Construct multiple-table queries and subqueries to meet complex data needs.
  3. Distinguish appropriate uses for custom user-defined functions.
  4. Develop triggers and stored procedures.
  5. Create database table indexes with emphasis on usage and table/query performance.
  6. Utilize SQL Server Query Optimizer to optimize queries.
  7. Improve database robustness and usability to accommodate complex business needs.
  8. Produce a lossless database environment through the use of Data Backups, Snapshots, and Transaction Log Files
  9. Analyze database performance.
  10. Plan data analysis and data integration using the SQL SSAS and SSIS tools.

  12. Develop reports utilizing SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) that meet business requirements
