Course Description

10-203-178 PHOTOGRAPHY-LIGHTING ...identify and control qualities of light. Setup and photograph multiple light scenarios with speed-lights, strobes, and continuous lights. Work with natural light and light modifiers. Access to an SLR or mirrorless digital camera required. (Prerequisite: 10-203-104, Photography-Digital)

  2. Create a portfolio quality photograph
  3. Operate photographic lighting equipment

  5. Create a photograph using various lighting styles
  6. Prepare for a studio photography session

  8. Create a three-light studio setup
  9. Control reflected light

NOTE: Wednesdays from 2:30 - 4:20 p.m. is skills lab time.

Access to a Digital SLR (DSLR) or mirrorless camera is required.
