What will I learn?

  1. Characterize junction field effect transistor transconductance curves
  2. Calculate component values to set operating points of junction field effect transistor circuits using gate bias and self bias.
  3. Calculate the voltage, current, and power gain of junction field effect transistor amplifiers.
  4. Construct circuits of junction field effect transistor amplifiers
  5. Determine applications that are most adapted to JFET amplifiers

·         Class Format: Combination of in-person lectures and lab work and online learning materials.

·         Lab Activities: Complete hands-on labs in ET129 during posted open lab times.

·         Lab Hours: ET129 is open for limited hours during summer; check with your instructor.
