What will I learn?

  1. Explain the electron theory of A.C. and D.C. electricity.
  2. Define the necessary components of a basic electrical circuit.
  3. Calculate series and parallel circuits using Ohm's law.
  4. Determine the characteristics of alternating current electricity.
  5. Demonstrate the use of a digital multi-meter (DMM) for testing HVAC components.
  6. Troubleshoot basic switch circuits using a voltmeter.
