10-145-186 FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT-SMALL BUSINESS ...the importance of good recordkeeping systems, reports, and the records necessary for a small business. Financial analysis techniques are explored through hands-on Income statements and cash flow projections for small businesses.

  2. Explain the economic relationship between government and business.
  3. Interpret Basic Financial Reports.
  4. Compute Current or Pro Forma Financial Statements.
  5. Identify the issues in managing a firm's cash flows.
  6. Describe the capital budgeting practices of small firms.
  7. Assess a firm's operating profitability ratios.
  8. Explain the key issues in managing accounts receivable, accounts payable and inventory.
  9. Explore Sources of Financing/Funding.
  10. Classify business risks according to the assets they effect.
