10-412-162 ENGINE PERFORMANCE ...focuses on key performance and troubleshooting skills and methodology. Student will be using OEM testing and troubleshooting process to ensure the engine functioning to OEM specs. Computer based diagnostic tools will be uses on trucks during road test situations.

  1. Perform general engine diagnosis.
  2. Conduct lubrication systems diagnosis and repair
  3. Conduct lubrication diagnosis and repair
  4. Conduct air induction and exhaust systems diagnosis and repair.
  5. Conduct electronic fuel management system diagnosis and repair.
  6. Conduct engine compression/exhaust brakes system diagnosis and repair.
