10-605-169 ELECTRONICS DESIGN INTEGRATION ...design, coordinate, and apply electrical, electronics, and/or microprocessor skills into an integrated final project. (Prerequisites: 10-605-165, Micro 3: Interfaces)

What will I learn?

  1. Design an electronics micro-controller project that is either your own idea, approved by an instructor, or one assigned
  2. Develop a plan to accomplish completion of the assigned project
  3. Produce project drawings and other documentation
  4. Construct the prototype of the project
  5. Change the project to work as planned
  6. Document the project to current industry standards
  7. Cooperate with classmates to create and execute delegated tasks
  8. Provide a presentation to demonstrate and explain the project

Class Notes

  • IMPORTANT: Each class consists of lecture delivered in person plus additional time in the Tech Hall lab, Room ET129 or the Mech Hall lab, Room ET120 during the posted open lab times. Plan approximately 30 hours to complete both portions of this class.
  • This course requires purchase of a parts kit in ET129.
  • IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Tech Hall Lab, Room ET129, is open Mon-Thurs 8am-8pm; Fridays 8am-3pm; Saturdays 8am-1pm. The Lab will observe all College closure holidays and breaks.
