What will I learn?
- Utilize advanced oscilloscope functions to analyze communication circuits
- Generate a line-code modulated signal
- Analyze network protocols using a network analyzing tool
- Create a Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum signal
- Examine wireless communications protocols
- Explain Networking concepts, including OSI, TC/IP models, Data Link Layers, Wireless and Wired networks

Class Notes
· Class Format: Combination of in-person lectures and lab work and online learning materials.
· Lab Activities: Complete hands-on labs in ET129 during posted open lab times.
· Online Materials: Access anywhere with internet access.
· Time Commitment: Plan for approximately 30 hours to complete the course.
· Preparation: Review online materials and talk to an instructor in ET129 before starting lab work.
· Questions: Reach out to the instructor through Canvas.
· Lab Hours: ET129 is open for limited hours during summer; check with your instructor.
· Campus Closures: Lab observes all college closure dates.
This course may require specific safety equipment and/or the purchase of parts kits.
