What will I learn?
- Use digital communication laboratory equipment
- Create an analog communication signal
- Generate pulse code modulated signals containing analog intelligence
- Create a time-division multiplexed pulse train that contains two analog intelligence information channels
- Generate digitally modulated carrier signals to transport digital data
- Troubleshoot pulse code modulated signals to identify defective circuits
- Examine concepts on eye patterns
- Explain digital communications concepts

Class Notes
1. IMPORTANT: Each class consists of lecture delivered in person plus additional time in the Tech Hall lab, Room ET129 during the posted open lab times. Plan approximately 30 hours to complete both portions of this class.
2. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Tech Hall Lab, Room ET129, is open Mon-Thurs 8am-8pm; Fridays 8am-3pm; Saturdays 8am-1pm. The Lab will observe all College closure holidays and breaks.
3. This course may require purchase of a parts kit in ET129. Please reference the class syllabus for details.
