  1. Identify the various components of a computer system and understand the meaning of the most commonly used computer terminology for the average consumer.
  2. Manipulate files and directories while working within a DOS environment.
  3. Manipulate files and directories while working within a Windows environment.
  4. Create and edit documents on a word processor using Microsoft Word 6.0 software.
  5. Build and revise spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel 5.0 software.
