10-607-112 AUTOCAD FOR CIVIL ENGINEERING ...develops the knowledge, skills, process, and understanding of AutoCAD by working with templates; creating and manipulating layers; basic drawing, editing, and inquiry commands; and blocks, attributes, and plotting.
What will I learn?
Analyze the default AutoCAD User Interface
Operate the basic commands in AutoCAD via the standard toolbar or by keying in command abbreviations.
Produce drawings utilizing Paper Space and Model Space.
Create drawing blocks for insertion into AutoCAD drawings.
Operate all portions of the Layers and Properties Panels in AutoCAD.
Operate the basic commands on the Annotation Panel in AutoCAD.
All students are required to attend the first day of open lab time in-person on Monday, January 27th.
This class consists of lecture and lab activities. The lecture videos can be watched online through the NWTC Canvas Learning Management System. Labs can be completed on your own or during the posted open lab time on Mondays from 12:30pm-2:20pm in room BC104. Please reach out to the instructor on the course with any questions.
