What will I learn?
- Demonstrate meaningful use of prosodic features.
- Differentiate between ASL versus more English-based sign systems.
- Interpret signs used within context.
- Identify and produce signs according to ASL structure.
- Use fingerspelling within the constraints of ASL.
- Identify and use numbers according to ASL structure.
- Summarize social and communication issues related to Deaf Culture.
- Describe the importance of cultural awareness and cross-cultural adjustments.
- Describe technology resources and accessibility as they relate to deafness.
