Would you like to affect NWTC’s course for the next several years? If so, NWTC is looking for your input as we build our strategic plan. Let us know what our communities will need from the College to support economic development, employment and a great quality of life for Northeast Wisconsin.
There will be several ways to participate:
- In-person community forums will be held throughout the District this winter.
- We will solicit input from all 32 school districts we serve, our advisory committees, local businesses and students.
- I will host two Facebook Live broadcasts via NWTC’s Facebook page, during which I will respond to your comments and ask questions. Join us at fb.me/nwtc.edu at noon on December 5 or at 8 a.m. on February 8.
- Fill out the online form at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/NWTC-Forum to provide your ideas at your convenience.
What we hear will make a difference. Five years ago, NWTC gathered community input for its Future 2018 strategic plan from community members, business leaders, education partners and students. By meeting the needs identified in that process, NWTC has had growth in high school dual enrollment, increase in students attending NWTC right out of high school, new and expanded degree programs, and increasing and innovative support for students. NWTC’s progress has led to national awards and grant funding for our region.
So let me invite you again to let us know what you need, what you see on the horizon, and what you would like to see. We have 1,200 employees and countless partners ready to continue building your vision for Northeast Wisconsin in the 21st Century.
