  • Established since 2012, NCMMTC is a critical resource to the community, providing services and addressing workforce development needs with tailored training solutions.

  • Nationally recognized as a premier maritime training facility, and since its launch in 2012, NCMMTC has trained over 15,000 new hires and incumbent workers, contributing significantly to the growth and impact of the maritime industry in Marinette and the greater region.

  • NCMMTC serves a wide variety of industries from maritime and manufacturing to healthcare and beyond – offering tailored training and other services to support local business. 

    For example in the last year, the NCMMTC has….
      • Helped 5 companies receive grant funding.
      • Provided workforce development training in areas of leadership, project management, welding, excel, CPR, and more.
      • Rented its facilities to 13 different organizations and businesses for meetings and other business needs.

  • NCMMTC has recently undergone significant modernizations to enhance its services, including lab renovations, new learning spaces, and updated training technology.
