Notable College Honors
INSIGHT Into Diversity magazine, the largest and oldest diversity and inclusion publication in higher education, named NWTC a recipient of this award, recognizing the College's innovations in helping underrepresented students pursue STEM careers.
National prize is given annually to an ATD Network college that shows sustained, substantive improvement in student outcomes; narrowing and closing of equity gaps; and outstanding commitment to equity-centered cultural change.
NWTC's transition from semesters to eight-week terms, “The 8-Week Advantage: Turning Change into Transformation,” was judged a Top 10 Bellwether Finalist in the category of Planning, Governance & Finance.

Five students in the Civil Engineering Technology program traveled to the nation's capital to compete in a two-day surveying competition.
NWTC received the inaugural Workplace Diversity and Inclusion Award from the Green Bay SHRM for its commitment to creating a diverse and inclusive workforce.
The College has been recognized as a 2021 Tree Campus by The Arbor Day Foundation for creating practices to ensure proper land use and urban tree management.
New technologies, like virtual reality and 3D printing, are being integrated into NWTC's curriculum to help provide more realistic and immersive training opportunities for students.
