EMT Returns to Become Paramedic

Paramedic grad

I chose the Paramedic program because I knew I wanted to become one. Through word of mouth, I heard the teacher and program were amazing (although very tough), and they weren't kidding. This is by far the HARDEST thing I've ever done.  My teacher, Dawn, is just fantastic.  I can't even put into words how amazing she is.

My experience at NWTC has been great! Always people to help you if needed, programs to help you achieve success. They don't want you to fail. They strive for you to reach your dreams.

I'm already an EMT and will upgrade to paramedic once I receive my license.

My advice for future NWTC students:  Never settle on what you want in life. There's a million reasons to NOT go to school (kids, money, divorce, etc.); but honestly, there are so many programs to help you, it's silly not to go. No excuses. I had MANY obstacles to overcome. This by far, was the hardest year of my life. Hands down. But… I did it.  And I graduate in two weeks.
