76-890-737 HSED TO WORK (CCR 1) – CIVIC LIFE... This course is a cross curricular (integrated subject material) and universal (understood across time and culture) unit that provides a comprehensive overview of the roles and responsibilities of civic engagement. Competencies in social science, civics, health, communication and mathematics will be covered. Topics include: exploring the 100 questions on the State Civics exam, identifying U.S. landmarks and geographical features, planning a trip, understanding U.S. government systems and primary source documents, researching indigenous people, understanding immigration, and the civil rights movement.
