What will I learn?

  1. Assess academic strengths and weaknesses to accurately determine readiness to successfully take and pass standardized tests that measure critical and analytical thinking skills in core academic areas.
  2. Acquire and strengthen digital literacy skills necessary to succeed in college and career.
  3. Design a compelling life plan using personality profile assessment of a student’s interests, values, personality, and workplace preferences to identify ‘right-fit’ careers and explore post-secondary programs to enhance student motivation and increase persistence.
  4. Develop a Personalized Education Plan to acquire and strengthen academic skills in preparation to pass standardized tests in core academic content areas to acquire a secondary credential and successfully transition to post-secondary coursework.
  5. Prioritize academic success by exhibiting an awareness of unwritten institutional norms by: engaging in self-directed learning, using timely help-seeking behaviors, and balancing multiple life roles.
