  2. Summarize bio-energetics and muscle metabolism by describing how fuel/energy for working muscles is created and utilized.
  3. Describe the structures and functions of the endocrine system related to exercise and physical activity.
  4. Summarize the structures and functions of the nervous system related to exercise and physical activity.
  5. Summarize the structures and functions of the cardiovascular system as it relates to physical activity and exercise.
  6. Summarize the structure and functions of the respiratory systems as it relates to physical activity and exercise.

  8. Examine the effects of resistance training on the human body.
