Course Description

10-546-105 WELLNESS KINESIOLOGY ...this course provides the opportunity for the learner to develop the knowledge, skills, process and understanding of the musculoskeletal system and major muscle groups and their response to movement and exercise. Also introduces biomechanics, in regard to human movement, to gain a greater understanding of athletic performance and reduction of sport injuries. This course will help the learner understand the movements of action in the human body. (Prerequisite: Accepted in the Wellness & Health Promotion program; 10-806-189, Basic Anatomy with a "B" or better)
