NWTC Spring Classes: In-Person, Blended, Online

Goodbye, 2020. Hello new opportunities!

Excited about pursuing your degree and taking classes in 2021? Maybe you're feeling a little nervous and wondering what to expect as the pandemic continues?

Please know we are committed to the safety of our college community. While we continue to offer hands-on learning (after all, it's what we do!). We have made a few changes to the way upcoming classes will be delivered.

So what's new for Spring 2021 at NWTC?

  • All lecture-based classes will be delivered virtually – either online or through online live.
     
  • Many hands-on and lab-based program classes will continue to offer an on-campus experience while safely accommodating students; where possible, portions of those classes that are not hands-on will be delivered virtually – either online or through online live.
     
  • Some general studies lab classes will be delivered virtually – either online or through online live.
     

What's the difference between online and online live?

Online: You'll learn anytime and anywhere you have access to the internet. Instructors are just a click away.

Online Live: As with online classes, you'll learn anywhere you have access to the internet. With online live, at least half the class is delivered through live virtual meetings, at specific dates/times. Access the remaining instruction anytime.

New to live virtual meetings? It's like being on campus, but you're not. You can interact with your instructor and fellow students in real time during class. There's a sense of community.

We can't wait to welcome you back to our Bookstore locations, but until then, we are ready to serve you virtually!
