So what’s new for Fall 2020 at NWTC?
With in-person and blended courses, you will be on campus at least one day each week. The other portion of your class will be offered remotely – either online or through Blackboard or Webex web conferencing.
Hands-on and lab-based program classes will meet on campus for the hands-on portion of the course. That means you will continue to get experience on real world equipment and tools.
Taking general education classes? If you choose a blended gen ed, your class will meet on campus at least one day per week.
New to Blackboard/WebEx classes? It’s like being on campus, but you’re not. You can interact with your instructor and fellow students in real time during class. There’s a sense of community.
Need extra help? You can schedule one-on-one remote meetings with your instructor.
If you’re looking a more typical classroom experience in this not-so-typical time, look for “In-person” or “Blended” when you register for classes. Of course, online classes are also an option. If you need more flexibility, online learning may be a good fit.
Keep soaring higher!
Don’t let COVID-19 delay your dreams and goals.
