NWTC COVID-19 Update

Wednesday March 11, 2020
Northeast Wisconsin Technical College is actively monitoring the local and global health situation around COVID-19 (Coronavirus).

The College’s Health Emergency Response Team has been activated, and is using the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommendations to determine appropriate actions and to keep the campus community informed. The safety of NWTC students and staff remains the top priority.

Currently, there are no reported COVID-19 cases on NWTC campuses.  The College has updated and activated its Health Emergency Response Plan to facilitate all necessary actions.

NWTC President Dr. Jeff Rafn has directed the College community to avoid all College-related international travel including study abroad trips. In addition, all student travel and all employee travel not required to perform the essential functions of the job is suspended until further notice. There are currently no students or staff traveling internationally on college business or for study abroad programs.

We appreciate the efforts of everyone who is helping us work our way through this challenging situation and thank you for your understanding. NWTC will continue updating the community and the public through the COVID-19 Website.
