NWTC honors Packers with Futuremaker Partner Award

Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (NWTC) and the Wisconsin Technical College System (WTCS) Board are pleased to honor the Green Bay Packers with the Board’s ‘Futuremaker Partner’ Award.
The award recognizes the unique, dynamic connections between Wisconsin’s technical colleges and their employer partners. The long-time partnership between the Packers and NWTC provides access to high-quality education for members of the communities in northeast Wisconsin, innovating to expand the talent pipeline for the region. Green Bay Packers ‘Futuremaker Partner’ Award.
“We are proud to have a strong partnership with the Green Bay Packers,” NWTC President Dr. Jeff Rafn said. “The organization deeply cares about our students and understands the importance of creating a high-quality workforce in our area. The Green Bay Packers Scholarship and student emergency fund donations are more than gifts, but extraordinary opportunities. Together we are creating a future for northeast Wisconsin.”
As one of the largest donors to the College the Packers and Green Bay Packers Foundation, their generous financial support not only improves access by helping to defray the cost of education, it also helps to assure students’ ultimate success in meeting their education and career goals. The Packers also provided pivotal support in the development of the NWTC Health and Wellness program, and the partners are now working together on Titletown Tech, which will grow technology and keep talent and resources in Wisconsin.
