Wednesday July 11, 2018
Community members and local leaders joined Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (NWTC) on July 10, 2018 to celebrate the Marinette Campus. Construction is now complete. The College has transformed into a cutting-edge, state of the art campus.
The layout has been redesigned to transform and enhance teaching and learning at the campus with more student engagement space, state of the art classrooms, study rooms and a new main entrance. NWTC Marinette ribbon cutting. College and community leaders cut a ribbon to officially open campus.

The project included adding around 14,500-sqft of news space and renovating around 67,000-sqft of space to create over an 81,000-sqft footprint in Marinette. Construction began in 2016. This is part of the $66.5 million borrowed from the April 2015 referendum.
Over a hundred community members toured the new spaces and enjoy food, music and hands-on demos.

It was an exciting day for NWTC and the Marinette Community. Thank you to everyone who worked on the project and joined in the celebration.
