Friday November 3, 2017 Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (NWTC) will celebrate Veterans Day with a week of events November 6 to 10 on the Green Bay campus. Veterans Week includes an open house in the new Veterans Resource Center, opening ceremony, suicide awareness walk and "Honor Flight” movie screening. All events are free and open to the public unless otherwise noted. Monday, November 6, 2017 What: Veterans Week Opening Ceremony The event includes: posting of the colors, singing of the National Anthem and an open house in the new Veterans Resource Center. When: 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM Where: Eagle Event Center, SC141 Who: Speaker: John Maino and Music Provided by NWTC Band Tuesday, November 7, 2017 What: A Place at the Table: Veteran Perspectives Students, staff and community members will be joined by about a dozen uniformed men and woman representing all branches of the military. The conversation will include their perspectives on current events. Pizza lunch and refreshments will be served.
