Nominations sought for NWTC Alumni Awards

GREEN BAY, WI - The Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (NWTC) Alumni Association is currently seeking nominations for the 2017 Distinguished Alumni Award and 2017 Alumni Employer of the Year Award.

Individual nominees must have graduated from NWTC, and will be considered based on their professional accomplishments, community involvement, and contribution to technical education.

Employer nominees will be considered based on their history of hiring NWTC alumni and support of technical education.

Nominations for both awards will be accepted until 8:00 a.m. on May 22, 2017.

About the NWTC Alumni Awards: For over 20 years, the Alumni Association has honored outstanding NWTC graduates from throughout the district. The 2016 Distinguished Alumni Award was presented to Nsight/Cellcom Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer Mark Naze, ‘82.  

Each year, the College also recognizes an employer for their demonstrated support and history of hiring NWTC graduates. The 2017 Alumni Award recipients will be recognized during a reception in the fall. HSHS - St. Mary’s Hospital Medical Center and St. Vincent Hospital was the 2016 Alumni Employer of the Year.
