Tuesday May 10, 2016 GREEN BAY– Students from the Team Building and Problem Solving class at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (NWTC) raised around $30,000 for local causes and charities. During the spring semester, 60 students from two sections of the course were divided into eight teams. Each team had been charged with finding a cause and raising funds/awareness for that cause. All in all the students helped nine different organizations including: the Rainbow House, Eye Heart World and Golden House. One team –Team Lyme, which took on Lyme disease awareness– broke the semester team record for fundraising. They raised about $19,000 of the $30,000 class total. Great work students!
