Thursday May 12, 2016 GREEN BAY – Approximately 1,960 students will graduate from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (NWTC) this spring. Over 680 grads will be participating in NWTC's main May 2016 Commencement Ceremony on Monday, May 16 at 6:00 p.m. at the Resch Center in Green Bay. The ceremony is open to all students have who will have completed their program and certificate requirements between January and July of this year. One hundred ninety-seven students will wear gold stoles as members of Phi Theta Kappa, the International Honor Society of the two-year college. Thirty- eight graduates wearing the red, white and blue cords are military veterans or are currently serving our country. Watch it LIVE on Monday! Twenty-two international students will also be graduating; this year's ceremony will include students from Ghana, Egypt, Pakistan, South Africa, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Turkey, Spain, Moldova, The Bahamas, Tunisia and Germany. This year has seen NWTC's largest-ever international exchange participation rate. Graduates will line up at 5 p.m. and are asked not to bring any personal belongings to the line-up area.
