GREEN BAY– The 30th annual Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (NWTC) Car Show and Swap Meet is in the books as another successful year.

Approximately 6,000 spectators checked out the over 630 show cars at this year's event.

During the show, NWTC automotive students donated a repaired 2007 Chrysler Town and Country to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Chapter #3. The College's Auto Club bought and repaired the minivan, with much of the work being done on the students’ own time.

Clover Auto and Truck Supply in Green Bay donated all the parts students used to repair on the minivan.

This project is part of service learning at NWTC where students can apply their skills to help the community. The College is nationally recognized on the President's Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll.

The NWTC Auto Club organizes the annual car show and swap meet. All proceeds go to help automotive students receive certification and support the club’s service learning projects.
