GREEN BAY –  Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (NWTC) President Dr. H. Jeffrey Rafn has been named
the National Pacesetter of the year by the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR).

"I am greatly honored to receive the national Pacesetter of the Year Award," said Rafn. "This award reflects the needed innovation and commitment everyone at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College provides in ensuring that all students succeed in achieving their dreams.  We take great pride in setting the pace for a future that creates strong communities, businesses, and quality of life for all individuals and families in our region."

The Pacesetter of the Year Award recognizes a community college president or CEO who has demonstrated special leadership and support in marketing and public relations. It is awarded annually in each of NCMPR's seven districts, and district recipients automatically become a nominee for the national award, which is presented at the national conference.
