NWTC alum to be honored by the FBI

GREEN BAY—  A Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (NWTC) alum and College Foundation Board member Tom Hinz '76 has been selected to receive the FBI Director’s Community Leadership Award (DCLA).

The Veterans Treatment Court provides an alternative to military veterans facing criminal charges for an intense period of treatment in order to maintain sobriety and law-abiding behavior upon completion of the program.

Hinz is also a member of the NWTC Alumni Board. He received the College's Distinguished Alumni Award in 2008.

He will be recognized at a special ceremony at the FBI’s National Headquarters in Washington, D.C. for the eighth annual DCLA on April 15, 2016.
