Nominations sought for NWTC Alumni Awards

GREEN BAY, WI - The Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (NWTC) Alumni Association is currently seeking nominations for the 2016 Distinguished Alumni Award and 2016 Alumni Employer of the Year Award.

Individual nominees must have graduated from NWTC, and will be considered based on their professional accomplishments, community involvement, and contribution to technical education.

Employer nominees will be considered based on their history of hiring NWTC alumni and support of technical education.

Nominations for both awards will be accepted until 8:00 a.m. on May 2, 2016.

About the NWTC Alumni Awards: For over 20 years, the Alumni Association has honored outstanding NWTC graduates from throughout the district. The 2015 Distinguished Alumni Award was presented to Greg Douglas, vice president of Construction Innovation at Miron Construction.

New in 2016, an employer will be recognized for their demonstrated support and history of hiring NWTC graduates. The 2016 Alumni Award recipients will be recognized during a reception in the fall.
