Monday May 4, 2015
May is national Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month, and a popular series of summer classes at NWTC is aimed at making that goal a reality. Motorcycle safety classes begin this weekend on the NWTC-Green Bay campus.

NWTC offers two types of Motorcycle Rider Safety classes:

Basic RiderCourse: If you've never ridden a motorcycle before, this hands-on course is for you. Motorcycles and helmets are provided. It includes 6 hours of classroom instruction and 10 hours of riding exercises in a controlled environment.
Motorcycle Rider Classes

Basic RiderCourse 2: This course is for riders who already possess basic riding skills and are either returning to riding or seeking a refresher course to practice and renew basic riding skills. It includes 3 hours of classroom and 5 hours of riding exercises.  Students bring their own licensed motorcycle along with proof of registration and insurance. Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive a waiver to obtain their Class M endorsement.
