Filling out and submitting the VA Certification Request/Revision Form to the NWTC School Certifying Official (SCO) is the only way the SCO will know that you want to use Federal VA Education Benefits for the semester. This Form must be completed and turned in to the SCO each semester after you have enrolled in your classes.
This form is also used to inform the SCO of any changes to your Academic Schedule. Your Certification to the VA must then be revised to avoid any debts/overpayments to you as well as ensure your Federal Education Benefits are being calculated accurately.
Priority for Certification will be given to those who have submitted a completed VA Certification Request/Revision Form prior to 14 calendar days of the Term Start. All others submitted after this date will be processed as soon as the others have been completed.
