3/12/2010The Library Hours do not change during Spring Break.
So we will be here waiting to help you (including on Saturdays). 3/11/2010View some fashion art from Mary Sue Fenner.
"Garments by Mary Sue" will be showing in the Library's Art Gallery for the next few months.

Stop by and see the amazing outfits. 3/3/2010You've asked for it . . . and we are listening to you.
After Spring Break week, the Library will be extending its Saturday hours!
This change will make the new hours from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm during the school year.
So take advantage of those extra hours to use the reference collection, check out books, concentrate in a study room, study Homer the Skeleton or Muscle Man, ask the library staff for help, or use the computers to research and write those papers.
Please let us know if you appreciate these extended hours so we can consider doing it again in Fall. 3/2/2010For some reason, students have started to call the Library's skeleton Homer.
Yes, there is a skeleton in the Library. We also have models of the eye, ear, muscles, etc.
The Library added these anatomical models to our Reference collection to help students who need to study outside of their anatomy labs.
So stop by, say Hi to Homer, drag him to a table or into a Study Room if you want to practice identifying femurs or tibias.
He's happy to help (well, actually, the librarians are happy to help).

Need to multitask? Eat and Study in the Library.
Yes, you can bring food and drinks into the Library so that you can study, watch videos, and read magazines while you eat.
The Library does not allow eating or drinking by the computers (for obvious reasons).
So bring those munchies, carry in your lunch, have your group share a pizza in one of our study rooms, or snack on chocolate while you concentrate for that test.
Just remember, the librarians like chocolate too. :)
