Free Academic Coaching and Tutoring for Credit Students
All credit students can request free group and individual academic assistance.
Once a learner has requested assistance through their my.NWTC Student Page, he/she will be contacted by the Academic Coaching Department. Please contact us at email@example.com if you have not received information within 2 business days and/or have any questions. These free services can be one of the keys to doing well in your classes!
Small Group Drop-in Labs
Small group academic assistance labs led by students who have been successful in the class are available to all credit students.
We offer these assistance labs for Math, Physics, Writing, Science, Nursing, Economics/Social Sciences, Accounting, Mac Graphics, CAD/REVIT, MT Hall courses, and all computer questions related to credit classes.
One-on-one Academic Coaching
Whenever possible, 1:1 assistance will be provided if students continue to struggle after attending group sessions.
Program Specific Assistance Labs
The Academic Coaching Department will set up study groups for program specific courses. Instructors can identify a strong student in the class and these students will lead study groups for program classes.

Interested in a part-time job? Become a Student Academic Coach/Tutor
Peers are needed to coach one-on-one and/or to lead study group sessions. Student Coaches earn either $8 or $9 per hour depending on the session.

If you are an instructor interested in setting up consistent study groups for your students, please contact us at email@example.com. These groups can be led by a paid student tutor.
