Robert Egger
Math Instructor

Mark has been part of our adjunct math faculty for over three years. "I found it a way to give back my talent to the community; also a way to inspire and influence the next generation." He has a bachelor's in mechanical engineering and physics from Cleveland State University and he attended Naval Post-Graduate School in Monterey, Cal. He and wife Teri Ann live in Green Bay and have two daughters, ages 7 and 11. He enjoys reading, woodworking, and home improvement and adds, "I'm just glad to be here."

Edward Gott
Sociology instructor

Ed came to NWTC for the "great opportunity to work with a diverse group of students" and "fantastic way to prepare students and workers for work and life." He and wife Stephanie live in Wrightstown, but he grew up in Morton, Ill.--home of Libby's and, he says, "pumpkin capital of the world." He has a bachelor's and Master's from Western Illinois University. He adds, "I have a passion for films, fishing, music (both playing and listening); we are avid campers and love the outdoors…. I am very social and love to get to know people. I am always willing to lend a hand or help out if anyone needs it."

Debbie Kolar
Director, Benefits & Compensation

Debbie considers technical education "awesome. From a financial perspective it’s more achievable for not only kids, but adults. I believe it’s more in line with what a person experiences in the working world." She comes to NWTC from Principal Financial Group, where she was Manager, Client Services. Prior to that, she spent 17 years in HR at American Medical Security, most recently as Director, Benefits & Compensation. She and husband Mike have a son, age 22, who attends NWTC, and two daughers, ages 21 and 12. In her free time, she says, "I love to sing, country mostly! I play softball in the summer... coed kickball in the fall... dart league in the winter. We camp with a group of friends and also own a Harley; last summer we purchased Scooters (aka mopeds)... about 20 of us now have them ... watch out for the Suamico Scooter Club!"

Rose Krutzik
Alternative High School instructor, Marinette
and Prepared Learner and Basic Ed support

Rose has been a teacher in all grades from preschool through grade 12. She joined NWTC in 2005, assigned to the Academic Skills Lab, NEW Community Shelter and Brown County Jail. She has a bachelor's degree from Marian College in Fond du Lac, with licenses in both early childhoold and elementary/middle school education. When she's not watching her 15-year-old daughter's volleyball games and track meets, she enjoys singing for weddings, spending time with friends and family, watching movies, walking and hiking.

Kari Liebeck
Associate Degree Nursing instructor

Kari has been a Registered Nurse at St. Vincent Hospital Intensive Care for over 18 years. She earned her bachelor's degree from Bellin College of Nursing and eventually joined NWTC's adjunct nursing faculty. She so enjoyed the students and the Health Sciences Team that she went back for her master's degree, and will complete Bellin's Nurse Educator program this May. Kari's husband, Mike, attended NWTC for plumbing. They live in Luxemburg, Kari's hometown, and have two daughters, ages 10 and 8. When they're not cheering on the girls' basketball and softball teams, they enjoy the north woods and fishing.

Felix "Trey" Mireles
Psychology instructor

Trey has a bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a master's from Capella University in Minneapolis. He grew up in Racine and now lives in Ashwaubenon with wife Samantha and their one-year-old daughter. He enjoys tae kwon do and sports - both participating and watching. He says that he chose NWTC because "I have a passion for teaching. I see NWTC as a warm and friendly environment."

Margaret Quam
Employment Services

Margaret brings experience on both sides of the Welcome Center Desk. Before accepting her current position, she worked part-time in the Call Center while earning an Associate Degree in Supervisory Management with certificates in Leadership, Ethical Leadership, and Supervision. "At first it was a part time job that helped out while I went to school here. Now, I find that the employees are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful, not only to other staff members, but to the students as well. The customer service at NWTC… is unmatchable in my opinion." She and husband Mark live in De Pere; she enjoys biking, swimming and reading.

Lori Weaver
General Studies Support

Lori has been a familiar face working part time in the General Studies office for 3 -1/2 years as a receptionist. She notes, "I have enjoyed working in the General Studies office, my co-workers are great people to work with and they make me feel very welcome." She lives in Green Bay with her husband, Hank, who attended NWTC to become a Millwright Mechanic. They have two sons, ages 11 and 7; and a daughter, age 5. She grew up in Marquette, Mich., and she enjoys family vacations in their camper in summer.
