Instructors: Learn to use ITV in your classroom!
ITV (Instructional Television) Workshop
June 6, 2006 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Explore the uses of ITV--and practice using it--in this free 1-day workshop for faculty and staff who use, or are interested in using, interactive television course delivery now or in the future.
It will include
terminology,
copyright issues,
equipment,
teaching strategies and techniques,
adapting visual presentation materials, and
similarities and differences between a traditional classroom and a distance learning classroom.

: This training will include the new D/L Navigator classroom controller.
You get to play, too!
This is a
hands-on
workshop where the learner will have the opportunity to practice using the equipment, culminating with a short group presentation using the equipment and techniques provided in the training. All training will be conducted on the network.
Fee: FREE
The ITV Instructor Handbook is required and will be mailed to you for a $15 fee, or you may download it from
