Keep customers happy when you're away
Use Temporary Voice Mail Greetings and Out-Of-Office E-Mail notifications

With the end of the semester and summer approaching, the Telephone Customer Service Team would like to remind you about voice mail and email notices regarding your availability.

Please remember to put a temporary message on your voice mail indicating when you will be unavailable and when you will return. If possible, redirect the caller to a more common number in your department where they can get assistance. (Log into your voice mailbox, dial 82, press 3 for your temporary greeting, and follow the instructions.)

For your email, enable your “out of office” agent, indicating when you will be unavailable. (Click on “Tools” and “Out of Office.”)

When you return, remember to disable both notifications.
