Academic Awards Banquet

The Academic Awards Banquet will be held on Monday, May 3, 2010 at the Rock Garden/1951 at 5:00 pm.

    This banquet is held in the spring to recognize the following:

  • Students achieving scholastic excellence and overall classroom participation.
  • Students achieving excellence for active student organization/club participation.
  • Students who have won state and/or national competitive events for the national clubs on campus.
  • NWTC's District Ambassador, chosen from among the top students to represent NWTC and the Wisconsin Technical College System at community events for one year. The Ambassador is chosen through interviews with the NWTC In-House Selection Committee and Alumni Association Finalist Selection Committee.

May Graduation

NWTC's Green Bay May Graduation will be held on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at the Resch Center at 6:00 pm. Graduates from any NWTC location may participate.

To participate in the ceremony, the following items must be completed:

  • Order your diploma by signing into your My.nwtc account - Go to the Academics Tab and click on Apply for Graduation.
*** In order to ensure graduate is listed in the commencement booklet, form needs to be completed by May 5, 2010.

  • Purchase a cap and gown in the Bookstore, SC146.  Caps and Gowns available: April 12 - May 7. Cost is $9.00

  • You will receive your announcements and your honor cord (if applicable) when you purchase your cap and gown.

 Graduation Ceremony. There is no graduation practice.

  • Line-up begins at 5:00 p.m. PLEASE BE PROMPT!
  • The line-up area is to the left of the Lobby. Watch for signs.
  • Leave all personal belongings with a guest prior to entering the line-up area.  There will be no secure site to leave items in this area.
  • The length of the ceremony is estimated to be two hours. 
  • A free punch and cookie/dessert reception will be held in the Lobby of the Resch Center. All are welcome to attend.
  • Pictures will be taken by an outside photographer and emailed to your mymail account and to your address listed on the petition for you to purchase if you wish.

NWTC-Sturgeon Bay May Graduation will be held on Thursday, May 20, 2010 at Stone Harbor Resort.

NWTC-Marinette May Graduation will be held on  Friday, May 21, 2010 on the UW-Marinette Campus.

December Graduation

    December Graduation will be held on Friday, December 18, 2009 
    KI Convention Center at 6:00 pm

    To participate in the ceremony, the following items must be completed:

    • Order your diploma by signing into your My.nwtc account - Go to the Academics Tab and click on Apply for Graduation.
    *** In order to ensure graduate is listed in the commencement booklet, form needs to be completed by Wednesday, December 2, 2009.

    • Purchase a cap and gown in the Bookstore, SC146.  Caps and Gowns available: November 10 - December 4.  Cost is $9.00

    • You will receive your announcements and your honor cord (if applicable) when you purchase your cap and gown.

     Graduation Ceremony. There is no graduation practice.
